Who we are
Department of the Institute of Media Studies at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava, located in Martin, Slovakia.
In the environments of Comenius University, we have been given the opportunity to build a modern study programme in which we strive to develop media literacy skills, educate information professionals and stimulate the creativity of our students.
Our mission
To be a top research and educational institution in the field of information science and specifically in the field of mediamathematics. To educate information professionals capable of applying themselves in research and business and of participating in international research and education projects, especially within the EU. We want to actively contribute to the development of the Turiec region and the whole Žilina region with media competences.
